: Setup for X11
If you want your system support chinese characters, you need this section, otherwise, you can ommit this section.
Fonts setup for X11
- Step 1, Create a now directory in your system. In my system, I create a directory
- Step 2, Copy a font file into the directory. There are a lot of fonts files in MS Wondiws directory
``Fonts''. I like MSYH font.
- Step 3, cd
/usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/CN, and run
- Step 4, add
into /etc/X11/xorg.conf. e.g.
- To support Chinese, you also need to set your locale, please refer to Section 2.7
